(Named after the Emperor Dragonfly) A hivewing, Emperor is Queen Wasp's son. He is 22 in human years, still a dragonet. He essentially looks like any other Hivewing, but wears a small royal wristband to show his status. He hates his mother, as she uses him as a both physical and verbal punching bag for her outbursts, subjecting him to constant abuse, as well as the fact she banished his father Darner to live in Tsetse Hive. After the events of book 15, he moves to live with his aunt, Lady Jewel.
