DE: Bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg hing im Südturm ein bedeutendes mittelalterliches Geläut, das im Krieg zerstört wurde. Im stählernen Glockenstuhl des großen Südwestturmes hängt ein sechsstimmiges Gussstahlgeläut, das zu den besten des Bochumer Vereines zählt. Die Glocken wurden in der sogenannten Versuchsrippe 7 (V7), einer Moll-Oktav-Rippe, gegossen. In the steel bell frame of the large southwest tower hangs a six-bell cast steel peal, considered among the finest of the Bochum Steelworks. The bells were cast using the so-called experimental rib 7 (V7), a minor octave rib. The cast steel peal of Paderborn Cathedral, cast in 1951, rings in the same configuration and is considered the first large peal using the then newly developed V7 rib. Bell data: 1.
