"Woah, easy girl," I told Athena as we almost missed our destination. She tucked her wings and nosedived again as we landed in our backyard. The luscious green plants surrounded me as I breathed in their beautiful scent. To my left, hundreds of beautiful yellow daffodils were in full bloom. On my right, hundreds of multicolored luscious tulips in red, orange, and yellow winked in the sunlight around a paved courtyard. The stable for Athena loomed in the distance at the far corner of my expansive yard. I climbed off of Athena and she trotted slowly toward her home. After our long day, she was exhausted but I knew my mom had already brought her some food and water. "Mom, I'm home!" I called as I walked through the glass screen door. "Good, I was starting to get worried," she answered as I walked through a sliding glass door to my living room.
