All I will say is that it’s different. (This is definitely not a reference to the procreate blending mode “difference” that I used to make the second version) But ooh this was quite experimental! I just put one big splotch of an airbrush on Aqua’s face :’) I also just happened to want to draw Aqua and had no idea what. That’s also why the pose is kinda different, and why I actually colored the lineart. Additionally, I used procreate’s HSB to edit the background - I swear I only tweaked it a bit but THE COLOR CHANGE - holy
So uhh funny story! When I finished drawing this, my mom asked me if a had a FEVER and I just went “What?!” And my mom said my face was super red… my current hypothesis is that drawing red-faced Aqua made MY face go red… wut the heck
