Day 2 of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics was incredibly dramatic! The biggest news was Lindsey Vonn's heartbreaking crash in the women's downhill event, which required her to be airlifted off the mountain for surgery on a leg fracture. In more positive news, fellow American Breezy Johnson secured the first gold medal for Team USA by winning that very same downhill race. Elsewhere, Norway's Sander Eitrem shattered the Olympic record in the men's 5,000m speed skating event to win gold, and in figure skating, the US and Japan are tied for first place in the team event, setting up a thrilling finale. Day 3 is coming tomorrow, and the 60th Super Bowl from the NFL is coming up at 6:30 pm on NBC. Stay tuned for that!
