Hello! As some of you may know, we are a high school FTC team. This project is a little more about FIRST Tech Challenge and its different aspects. FIRST is the world’s leading youth robotics community, delivering hands-on STEM learning that inspires innovation, builds confidence, and prepares kids for life. Across the globe, students thrive in programs that are powered by mentorship, teamwork, creativity, and engineering challenges. Some FIRST programs are FTC, FRC, and FLL. FTC stands for FIRST Tech Challenge, and it is what our team participates in. We build robots that are around 18 inches in length, width, and height that complete a certain task and compete it a yearly tournament. FLL stands for FIRST Lego League, which can be participated by students as young as five years old! FRC is FIRST Robotics Competition, which is a bigger version of FTC. Robotics is a great program to join. Anyone can find a home in robotics, whether it be physically building a robot, programming it, designing it, or making events. Whether you like building, creating, making art, math, business, or socializing, robotics is a great way to make new friends and have fun. If you don't have an FTC/FRC/FLL team at your school, don't worry! Talk to teachers and other staff at your school to start one! For help and guidance, visit boogieconnects.org which is our website created to help people spread advice, solve problems, or get help with anything related to FTC. We will make another project soon about the different aspects of an FTC team, so check our profile weekly for updates :)
