EndoParasitic explained by an idiot: So you're in a lab, studying a parasite, when the parasite gets loose. Three mutated scientists (main enemies of the game) rip off both of your legs and one arm. Also a parasite got inside you. Throughout the game, you have to check your inventory to make sure the parasite doesn't reach your brain (inventory shown in second screenshot). That thing with the parasite is your health, and it drains slowly if you're not getting attacked. Get attacked, and the parasite jumps up farther. You start with the Revolver. 4 shots kills the mutated scientists. 1 shot for the mutated lab rats. Then you get the Shotgun. 1 shot kills the mutated scientists. It is recommended NOT to use this on the rats, and save it for the scientists, and stronger enemies. Next, you get the Flare Gun. This does damage to enemies, over time, and allows you to shoot more than one at once, if they're lined up. It can also ricochet of walls. IT DOES NOT HARM YOU IF IT HITS YOU. Last but not least, you get the Crossbow. Use this to kill mutated scientists if you're around "Sleepers", or, "Sleeping Beauties". The Crossbow is 1 shot to kill a mutated scientist. Same with lab rats. You can hold up to a maximum of FOUR CROSSBOW BOLTS; One loaded into the Crossbow, and 3 in your inventory. In order to load the Crossbow, you need to wind it first, THEN drag the bolt into the Crossbow. You can hold a maximum of 3 Vaccine Syringes. (Story Mode.) Sleepers: You must be silent around them. Using the crossbow on other enemies other than them is recommended. THEY ARE KILLABLE. Easier to kill them with fire. So if you're playing with friends watching, scream "KILL IT WITH FIRE!!", as the phrase makes perfect sense. I prefer to play Endemic Mode, as its more fun. (Mainly cause I kept failing on one part of story mode but like we don't talk about that) Endemic Mode lets you have upgrades, and in one of my runs I had EVERY SINGLE ONE, ALL MAXED OUT. I was unkillable. Until I died. :(
