[NON-CANON] Aukkit (he/they) Blazingsun (he/they/it) Honestpaw (shi/heart/fae) Celestialblight (she/he/bell/chorus/hei) Campanulacyclone (questioning) Poppykit (he/him) The shores were loud, almost roaring as a kit walked by it, small paws making indents in the sand. He frowned. "..Something's awry." He meowed, flopped ears twitching a bit. "I need to go tell them." And so, they turned and went back to the large den they all shared. An orangey-red tom slams his paw on the ground. "NO WAY! Your brother really is all that, huh? No wonder you two are so awesome, I'm your grandpa!" They meowed with pride, its face having a wide grin displayed on it as he spoke to the other feline; a blue-gray tom with white slivers in his fur. She sighed. "Yes, I believe that is so.." In the corner, a rather small apprentice was trying to get rest, multi-colored and tired before the kit ran in. "Guys, someone else is here!" He meowed, ears flicking. The cats all stared at the kit. "No way- Already?" The orange tomcat asked. "I swear, it's like yesterday when little Celestialblight-" He got cuffed over the ear. "Ow- Came here!" "Whoever it is, this cat seems.. Aggressive. The tides don't seem to like them either." The kit sighed. "Follow me; we'll have to investigate." The apprentice cracks open an eye and glances at hir paw, frowning at its transparency. But heart would get up and follow after anyway, at the tail-end of the group. The tides were really upset, even more-so than when the kit had left. He frowned, blue eyes squinting. "Yeah, that's.. Not good." They seemed concerned as the orangey tom stepped in front of everyone, almost protectively. "Okay, this is way too much for you little guys- Let me handle it, alright Auk?" Aukkit sighed. "..No, not really. Blazing- BLAZING, WAIT-" Blazingsun got hit with the entire weight of a cat being flung at him out of the water, crumpling to the ground. Seemed like another red one, Aukkit sighed. "Ghh..." The new cat seemed to groan, shakily getting to his paws, soaked head to toe. "What.. Huh? This isn't.. StarClan.." He wavered on his paws before collapsing onto Blazingsun, who let out another oomph at the impact. Aukkit, Celestialblight, and the apprentice started in horror. Before Celeste took action. "Honestpaw, get Blazingsun; I'll grab this new cat.. In case if they're hostile." She meowed, nudging the brown-red cat off of poor Blazingsun. His entire body hurt. And was soaked to the bone. Who were these cats? As he opened his eyes, squinting at the sudden sunlight. Yeah. Still the same weird place. "Who are you all..." He groaned out. "You're in what I can only attribute as Purgatory," Celestialblight meowed. "I'll do some introductions. The cat who gave you a soft landing is Blazingsun, the apprentice carrying him is Honestpaw, the kit is Aukkit, and me.. Well.." He placed a paw on bell's chest. "I'm Celestialblight. Perhaps the most accomplished cat of the group, not to brag." "..You are bragging." He grumbled, as chorus chuckled. "Well, what about you then?" "..Uhm. I don't know. Never got a chance to really introduce myself to anyone. I guess I'm.. Woodpeckerwoe's son." "Who?" "Eh?" Celeste and Auk seemed to question while Honestpaw was trying to make sure Blazing hadn't died twice. "You.. Uh,.. I'm Bellflowercrown's grandkit?" "Sounds a little familiar- I'm not asking for your lineage, though. Who are YOU?" Celestialblight questioned, gesturing with a paw at the soaked cat. "..I have a name. It's Campanulacyclone. I guess I'm.. Me?" Celeste seemed to find this amusing, letting out a chuckle. "That's a poor introduction, but at least you're trying. Here. Let us guide you to our den." He meowed, her fur seemed pristine; chorus had spent most of his days cleaning his fur thoroughly for good reason. Campanulacyclone followed, tired as he made his way behind the others. He glanced at his paws. Who.. Was he? He killed his mom, he died because of it.. He felt guilt, lots of it. But who was he? Other than his emotions, other than his trauma. These cats seemed nice; how long until they'd betray him? He hoped it'd be never. He really, really hoped. But he couldn't be loyal to that idea. As they made it, they seemed to settle in. The new cat- Campanulacyclone, seemed to keep his paws tucked under himself, staying in a corner. Honestpaw could relate, and shi decided to stay near the other. "..Hey." Fae meowed, trying to at least get hir one conversation of the day in. "Oh uhm.. Hi? Why are you talking to me?" He raised a kittybrow to heart. "I don't have much else to talk to. I didn't have an identity or anything when I was alive either. I got to.. Experiment and look into things now, at least. These guys are dumb, but they're.. Nice." Shi gestured to the bickering felines. Campanula chuckled. "Tell me about it. I never thought I'd be face-to-face with the guy who burned down MossClan and he'd.. Be giving me life advice. And his weird, stupid grandpa."
Honestpaw finally smiled over at Cam. "Well.. You seem confused. I'm here for you, because I've been there. After all; sometimes we just need a little push to get along!" Shi twitched heart's whiskers in a positive manner, wanting to encourage Campanulacyclone to keep going. In which, he felt the sentiment. "..Huh.. Okay." He didn't exactly know what he felt. Glancing at his paws, he felt as though he didn't do enough. How did a simple wound on his face result in him dying? It was shameful, shameful, disgraceful; his mother would be beyond disappointed. [warning; panic attack portrayal here from campanula's pov.] Voices began to fade out in place of the ringing in his ears that folded back to the sides of his head. Was his mother here? Were they watching him, disappointed in him? He knew he had been the cause of her death. The cause of those kits being all alone, and he couldn't do /anything/ to save them. His breathing picked up, panic apparent in his eyes. His claws dug in and out of the ground; a rhythmic motion to try to keep himself grounded, yet it seemed to fall from him. Were the den walls this small? He felt like a kit again, or maybe something worse, was he a monster? He was a monster. He was- [warning over] A paw landed on his shoulder; soft, fluffy. Concerned green eyes look down on him as Blazingsun stands there, his usual casual and entertaining expression replaced with a serious one of worry. The den was quiet. How long was he like this? "Hey, kid.." Blazingsun started, frowning a bit as he sat down, moving his paw away. "I'm sorry for touchin' ya. You just didn't respond to me when I was usin' my words. I would've forgiven you if you struck me for that." They meowed, before glancing to the other areas in the den; seemed like the others wanted to give the two space. Blazingsun glanced back at him. "You okay? I know it ain't my business, but.. You're not well, and I've seen that since you showed up. I'm here for ya." He then smiled, eyes crinkling as they did so. "I didn't have a bunch a' kits for nothing, after all! I love my grandkits; all of 'em. And, well, you're about t' be my next kit!" He gently reached out, as though asking for permission. Campanula nodded, feeling the other's paw ruffle their fur on the top of his head. It made him chuckle a bit, which seemed to make the other light up. "You've got all the time in the world to think about it. But hey, we aren't all so bad!" Cammy nodded, feeling the tears fade from his eyes in favor of a bit of hope. Of joy. "..Yeah. Thank you.." Campanulacyclone knew something, though, getting up, gesturing for the other to follow. Blazingsun did so without hesitance; trusting the other inherently. Cam didn't know why the other was so friendly; wasn't he from UrchinClan? Didn't he know it was dangerous? But they made it to the shore. "I saw a cat down there, among many, many. But none of them I could identify." "Eh? Tell me 'bout them then, kid." Blazingsun showed interest, curious. "Blue-gray fur, blue and green eyes.. A smile on his face. I think.. I think UrchinClan will be good for now. They might need someone who's nice. Nicer than I ever was." Campanulacyclone, for the first time in his life, and in death, felt.. Satisfied. He didn't have to keep chasing after anything. Maybe they could explore his identity; look into things..? Yeah. He'd like that.
