Space/click for next image So, I’ve finally taken to the task of making AUs and stuff for my (Star Wars) OCs. This is specifically ’cause of the Winter Olympics! I think Nye would definitely do figure skating and I think he might also do snowboarding, but idk for sure. This was my first time drawing figure skating poses, and they’re really hard! It’s hard to make it look anatomically correct while also capturing the pure motion and energy of the references. Context/ramblings: 1. I tried to make Nye’s original outfit into a skating outfit. It’s decent, but I might change it up eventually. I forgot to erase the guidelines for the legs…. Bro’s just having fun skating around. <3 2. One of my favorites of this batch (even though the face looks a little weird). I think I really captured the motion of this pose and it’s pretty dynamic! The foreshortening was crazy, but not too hard tbh. The hand however… you’ll see the test drawings on the side; it took so many tries to get it right (I erased it a lot, so it took more than those three practices), but it’s low-key kinda good! I had a lot of fun with this one and the outfit is beautiful (took it from a reference). <3 3. This was my second one, I think. The anatomy was pretty hard on this one, but I like how it turned out! I think I captured the motion pretty well. This was also my first time drawing short/boy hair like this. It didn’t look right the first time, but after I decided to abandon worries that it’d look weird, it turned out nice! I also like the expression and the hands are pretty good! <3 Anyway, yeah!
