Welcome to Big Boggle! When you press the green flag a grid of 5x5 random letters will appear on-screen. Click and drag between letters to form words. Try to form as many words as you can before the timer runs out. 4 letter words are worth 1 point 5 letter words are worth 2 points 6 letter words are worth 3 points 7 letter words are worth 5 points and words with 8 or more letters are worth 11 points. 3 letter words and proper nouns don't count. If a word that you spelled correctly ended up in the invalid words list, let me know and I'll add it to the dictionary. As a ground rule I'll only add words that are in the scrabble dictionary. Thanks Scratch Team for front-paging this! Thanks to @BinDat for the dictionary list. I was using the word list from MIT but it was missing a-lot of words. I used what the font on myfonts.com to find the Big Boggle font, which is called Helvetica Now Text Bold. I used danmarshall.github.io/google-font-to-svg-path/ to convert the Helvetica font file to an svg (scalable vector graphics) file. Thanks to @Griffpatch for his tutorial on text engines. Thanks to @ScratchInMinutes for his youtube tutorial on calculating distances between coordinates. And of course, thank you to Hasbro Games for the original board game.
