E and Q to zoom in and out. - ▣ (Joystick) - Hold your finger on it. It expands. - Press play (▶) or press space to run the simulation. - Press pause (⏸) or press space again to stop the simulation. - Move the Simulation Speed slider or press F or G to change the simulation speed. - Press " --------------- " (Just above the simulation speed slider.) or press X to step the simulation by one generation. - Press ↺ or press B to go back so you can rewatch the simulation. - New+ - hotkey: N - Make a new grid and set its size. Leave the size blank to not change it. If you type 'd' or "default" in the blank for the width or height, it will use the default size. - Reset - hotkey: R - Resets the grid to when it was last saved, loaded, or made. - Save - hotkey: O - Gives you a save code to copy. Paste it in notepad. Paste in a save code. Leave the space blank to cancel. - Pres. (Presets) - hotkey: P - Look through a list of preset patterns (thanks to https://conwaylife.appspot.com/ ) To view one, press ↓ - Pick Preset - hotkey: K - Pick a preset from the preset list. Type its name or its number. Leave the space blank to cancel. - Close - hotkey: P Close the preset menu. - Center View - hotkey: C - Centers the view. - - (minus sign) - hotkey: Q - Zoom Out. - + (plus sign) - hotkey: E - Zoom In. SETTINGS hotkeys work without the settings menu open. - Draw Style - hotkey M - setting this to 1 will make cells render as dots.
