Bayou was a fish trader in a small town with his adopted son, Lagoon. They led a calm, simple life in their lakeside town. But things changed when the town was ambushed by a neighboring kingdom. On the night of the attack, before things went downhill, Bayou said he'd be right back. A few minutes later, the village was attacked and burned to the ground. Lagoon fled and was safe from the fire. Soldiers who attacked the city captured all the citizens. When Lagoon came back to the town, it was just piles of ashes and the bare bones of the buildings.
