I need 1-2 characters to complete my comic, Sonic: Warp Timeline, since I ended up scrapping one of my original ideas. So, I've decided to let the community enter some of their OCs! If I select your OC, here's what I will use them for: 1. They will help Sonic and friends. If that's not their style, you may want to reconsider entering them. 2. I will use them for a pre-determined plotline. Once again, if that won't fit your OC, you may want to reconsider. 3. Your character's personality WILL be considered for their plotline, but will not affect a majority of the other characters. 4. Your character may be selected alongside someone else's character and have to work with them. If you don't want this to happen, then be sure to specify that your character should work solo. 5. Your character can and will appear in art, animations, etc. that have to do with the comic. You will receive full credit for them if they do. 6. As the chapters come out, you may offer suggestions for what your character might do next. However, since a majority of the plot is already outlined, I may not follow all of your suggestions. If you don't get selected to be a main character, you may be selected as a cameo character. You will receive full credit for your OC whenever they appear. Rules, guidance, and tips: 1. Your character must follow community guidelines, of course. 2. Don't get angry if I don't explore your character's backstory, show them enough in the comic, etc.. This story is pretty much all planned out at this point, so there's not a lot of room to play around. 3. If your (selected) character stars in your own comic, story, etc. I will provide advertising for said story in my comic's description upon request. That being said, I will only advertise one story per chapter. Do not ask me when yours will be advertised or ask for yours to be next. I will have it written out. I will advertise for both main characters and cameo characters. 4. Shipping: If it's OC x Canon, it may show up a little bit or be hinted at in the story, but it won't become a major plot point. If it's OC x OC, especially if one OC isn't in the comic, it may be mentioned, but it's not guaranteed. Don't get angry at me about this. 5. If you want higher chances of getting selected, make your character unique but also blend well with the canon characters. This includes both backstory, personality, and design. 6. Backstory is important! Due to the way I'm writing this story, I'll need some parts of your character's backstory. Most specifically, a boss battle they fought in. It can be something you come up with, or something in a canon game. For example, your character could've fought a crystal dragon trying to take over their village, or they could've fought Neo Metal Sonic during the battle for Angel Island (IDW comics) 7. Personality. Your character needs to be capable of working alongside ALL of the main characters. They may not be happy about it, like some hedgehogs... *cough* Shadow *cough* ... But they need to do it if they're going to appear in this story. 8. Powers and abilities must make sense and not be overpowered. For example, if your character can control the wind, they can blow Eggman's robots around, but they probably shouldn't be able to blow a whole city or planet away. Alright, now that we've gone through ALL of that, let's get to the form to enter... It's located in the project. Remix to fill it out. If you run out of space, use the project's description or link your character's bio as long as it includes all the necessary info. I'm trusting that you read all of that info above.
