I will probably do a little more editing on this (particularly for the research section because you can never have enough) but other than that it's complete! Kit you're applying for - Hopekit ! Your user (with @) - @Dovespring Personality - (+) optimistic, curious, smart (-) guarded, risk-taker, oblivious Hopekit is optimistic, curious, very smart, but somehow oblivious to danger. Of the two of his parents, Hopekit takes more after Fallenshadow. Hopekit is relentlessly optimistic, sometimes to a fault. He loves Fallenshadow's soppy life lessons and believes that every cat wants to be a good person at their core. However, this doesn't mean he will shy away from the risky suggestions of his mom. Sneaking out of camp is something he's almost obsessed with, dying to explore and see new things. As a kit, he will constantly pester everyone around him with relentless questions about the Clans and the world in general. He hates, hates feeling sad, and as a kit and apprentice he will do everything he can to avoid being sad or hide his true feelings. This will probably lead to him being a very sad adult, when inevitably something happens to take away his childlike wonder and chronic joy. Plans for the kit? Even vague directions are fine for this one. - My main goal with him is to actively play him the whole time he is alive! I had a pretty good arc planned for my last Gens character, Cosmosfire, but then I got too busy with school and he was removed and I'll forever be sad about that :( but I'm not in school anymore, hooray! Other than that, I'm just going to see where life takes him! Disability Research - Albinism is the complete lack of pigment in a cat (in this case). This lack of pigment makes their eyes more easily irritated by things like bright light, and can sometimes cause vision issues- struggling to see small details, and Nystagmus, which is the involuntary back-and forth sort of wiggling of the eyes. They are also more prone to sunburns and skin cancer. This would likely cause Hopekit to spend more time in dens than outside, and possibly wear some kind of accessory that could serve as makeshift sunglasses or a coat to keep him from getting burned. Due to his poor vision, he would probably have a bit of a hard time hunting and training compared to other apprentices. During my research, it has been a bit confusing to understand eye color. In humans, it seems that most people with albinism don't really have have pink eyes. In general, any species with albinism seems to have more or blue or violet-greyish eyes that can look more pink/red in a certain lighting. Some people seem pretty confident that all cats with albinism have pink eyes, but opinions on this seems to vary. The point is, it might be good for his eyes to be more of a blue-gray? Hopekit thinks that he looks super cool with his unique eyes and white coat, but does get frustrated at how easily he gets sunburned and his vision issues. As he gets older, he might get nervous about exploring the way he wanted to as a kit because it's harder for him to see than most cats. I might try and do an arc where he has to work hard to get his sense of adventure back after getting discouraged from an attempt to go hunting on a sunny day that went poorly. Questions/Concerns - Although Hopekit is my favorite, I'd be happy to play another kit if the need arises :3 Art is mine!
