do NOT: steal, copy, trace, repost or recolour my art. -info- It’s been a couple of days since I last posted, and I haven’t really been active on here for basically the same amount of time. Now, I have my reasons. Firstly; exam revision is killing me. Seriously, it’s not fun, it’s literally shoved in my face every day, with every class and it is both incredibly annoying and incredibly exhausting. I mean, I’ve probably read ‘an inspector calls’ like 5 times front-to-back and analysed it to the mountains already. Secondly; I have been looking into my childhood dream of being apart of scouting again, and am working on that. Social anxiety just complicates almost anything social, and I just really wanna go hiking and camping and earn badges, because as much as I love digital art and retro video games; I don’t actually enjoy being stuck inside. 2020 was basically hell on earth for me with that. Thirdly; as of 3 days ago I have found another platform. It is free of ai, less restrictive than scratch in the horror aspect, and is completely free. So far; my experience has been totally positive. There, my oc’s have immediately blown up, the Ui is super nice and intuitive, and If I wanted to; I could also post my unrelated books alongside my oc’s lore there too. Of course; as this is scratch and I want to stay on the ST’s good side; I will not post my account name, nor the platform’s name here. From what I can tell, it’s a teen artist-focused platform, which is really cool, because then I am able to express my creativity more freely. So, now that’s out of the way, to answer that widely known question; “am I quitting scratch?” No. I have no plans to leave this site for a while. I’m one to cling onto the familiar and safe, especially as they tend to do with childhood, which I don’t want to end because I am quite frankly; terrified of taxes and having to get a job, which would mean less free time and more exhaustion and stress. This means I will be dividing my energy and work between scratch and said platform from now on; and all commissions here will continue to be created and posted as normal, so there is no need to worry if you have requested a free commission from me.
