It’s that time of the year again! Usually Jan-April rabbits are at literally every farming store. The one with the standing up ears is Basil, he’s a male champagne d argent. The lighter grey one in the back with the lop ears is Cornflower, she’s a female lop bunny! She’s either a Holland hop or a Mini Hop. I was planning on getting rabbits this year, 2 girls. But unfortunately my male rabbit Jazz passed away (gut issues we couldn’t fix :( ) 2 weeks ago. I have another female bunny, she’s a palomino rabbit and she’s almost a year old. Hopefully cornflower is an actual doe rabbit though… (thankfully the breeder she’s from always is great at getting the gender right :3) For a whole year I thought my rabbit Jazz was a female. He was in fact not and I had to give him a new name lol.
I. Love. Rabbits. So. Much. Update: march 20 Bad news, Cornflower is no longer alive. She di3d yesterday. She seemed quite sickly when we had first gotten her, and then a big storm came in and probably weakened her quite a bit, this is the downside with owning rabbits, they have the immune system of a Victorian child. I would recommend not getting them if you don’t want to deal with this
