Hi! :) I made a new pfp, enjoy up close look at it. I figured now would be a good time to explain my kintype (the creature featured in this art) RAMBLE WARNING. I call it the Firefox. It's based off a creature in Scandinavian mythology called the Tulikettu or Revontulet, which literally translates to "fox fires" In essence, it's a fox with a northern lights tail. Like all myths, the facts are fuzzy and there are different versions. The version I identify with is the one featured in the short film "Fox Fires" where the fox runs across the sky (runs, not flies) using magic. It's tail itself is the northern lights, the tail doesn't light the northern lights, the tail tip isn't the northern lights, the entire tail is the northern lights. Now, you're probably thinking "that doesn't look like a fox" and you would be correct. My kintype is actually a hybrid of the Revontulet and a red panda (which is also my theriotype) A common nickname for red pandas is "firefox" and, as I said, the English translation for the Revontulet is "fox fires" so I thought it fitting to name my kintype the "Firefox" PLEASE READ: although this is my kintype, I also coin it as an OC and you are not allowed to copy. Feel free to take inspiration from it, or make on OC of the myth Revontulet.
