We shouldn’t talk in class because it can be distracting to others, if multiple others are talking at the same time as another person, it can be distracting to others, and it may cause the teacher to stop for the entire class to stop talking, causing a disruption to learning. It can also be disrespectful to the teacher, because they can’t do their job of teaching the class. Once more, if multiple people are talking at once, it can once more interrupt the learning environment. And some kids need quiet to focus on working, making them miss the due date if others are talking. If we talk in class, it can affect us in negative ways, such as failing tests and quizzes, and impacting theirs and everyone else's academic performance. It lowers their, and others, chance of passing tests, understanding homework, and studying effectively, and that can affect their future educational opportunities. It is important for students to understand that talking in class is not only disrespectful to the learning environment and teachers, and can indirectly alter your chances of getting into college.
