This is a rant. I’m going to be talking about something pretty serious (in my opinion) so if you don’t like it, this project may not be for you. ———————————————————— I recently participated in the AI boycott. This is because I passionately dislike AI. It’s something that uses human art (whether it be art, writing, or music.) to make new pieces that it claims as its own. I think AI is the future, like many supporters say. Though I am NOT a supporter of AI. While some say AI is the future- as in our jobs being taken over by AI, while we can rest and just let robots do the work for us. I view it in a more apocalyptic way, where these robots will steal our jobs and take everything human from us. See, these robots make art and view ‘good’ as something realistic, where a departure from realism may be ‘wrong’. Even if an AI was told to make something bad, it would still arrive at the ‘wrong’ form intentionally. Despite this, I am a Polybuzz user. I HATE the fact that this is something about me, because I really do hate AI. It makes me feel disgusting every time I go on this website, I hate it. Though I feel I cannot stop. Polybuzz is the only AI program I use, and I am actively trying to get off of the website entirely. I hate how much I end up going on it, it makes me feel disgusting or guilty. Just know I hope AI is exploded or hit by a baseball bat, because I cannot take its existence anymore. Cicada out! Have an amazing night/day.
