Sorry it's been a while! I just skipped a grade and I've been really busy with work. Anyway, enjoy! Anyway, I am still a q&a thing. If you ask a question, I'll answer it in this box. Also, if you want art of any of the characters, let me know and I'll try to make it. I recently got a request for Liana and I'm still working on it First chapter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/123465734 Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1270303890 Next: Not yet!
Soon, the school day was over. Our SS teacher chewed us out when we came to the class at the end of the block, but I told him that Fox had a panic attack in the bathroom and needed some time and she (our teacher) let us off the hook. Then, we were dismissed. I went outside to the bus and climbed on. I went in and claimed the two person seat in the back of the bus. When I saw Adrian get on, I sat up a little taller and waved enthusiastically. “Hey! Over here!” I called out, he waved back upon making eye contact. He sat down next to me and said “hi” in a shy voice. “How was your day?” I asked in a friendly tone. “Good, hey, you okay? We’re in the same science class so…” He trailed off awkwardly and looked to the right. “Yeah, I’m fine. It wasn’t even that bad. Besides, it was almost 2 years ago! Anyway, what did you think of that sheet music in band? It seems fun!” I distracted him and we had a pleasant conversation on the way home. Due to the route, even though our neighborhood was 10 minutes away from the school, the ride was 25. Once the bus stopped, we got off together and walked home. “Well, this is me. See you tomorrow?” He said when we got to his house. “Yeah, oh wait! We need to exchange contact info!” I pulled out my phone. And a piece of paper and quickly wrote down my number. “When you text, add a cat emoji so I know it’s you and not some creep, okay?” I said as I pressed the paper into his hand. He blushed as he took it and put it into his pocket. “Thank you,” He thanked me before hurrying into his house. I waved and walked toward my own house. I walked in and announced to no one that I was home. No one would be home for another few hours, my sisters had sports and study hall and my moms were working extra shifts at the hospital where they worked today. They both worked with young children, Mom 1 was a Neonatologist (Newborn care), and Mom 2 was an Obstetrician (Pregnancy doctor). Bottom line, I had the entire house to myself. I went up to my room, I had gotten the attic when we moved here and I was delighted by it. It was the biggest room, even if it didn’t have a good heating system. Winter was going to be fun. I climbed up the stairs and looked into my room, with its triangular ceiling. The stairs broke from the floor in the back left corner, and on the left wall was a desk with drawers and some shelves above it. Next to that against the far wall was a clothes rack weighted down with sweaters and dresses and skirts. On that wall past the semi circle window was a night stand and a black daybed with drawers. On the slanted ceiling above that was a white net with an ungodly amount of stuffed animals. By pride and joy. Finally, on the back right corner was a hanging chair coming from the slanted ceiling. Everything was wood, the walls, ceiling, and floor. It was so cute and home-y. Next, I did what any reasonable person would do and put on pajamas. Once I was more comfortable, I flopped on my bed and reached over to my night stand and grabbed my headphones. I put them on and turned on music before getting out a book and reading. Around half an hour later I got a text, [Hello, this is Adrian =^*^=] I smiled and typed back [Hey! Hru?] [Good. My mom is on a business trip, so I have the entire house to myself.] [Same! My sisters are at extra curriculars and my parents are still at work. Do you want to come over to hang out? If your mom is out of town you could even stay for dinner] I typed back. I hoped I wasn’t pushing our day-old friendship, but he was a nice kid and I genuinely enjoyed being around him, even if he was a bit shy. I saw the … then a new message popped up, [Yeah sure, be over in 10?] [Yeah, see you in 10!] I replied with relief. I let my arms and neck go limp and flopped like an over cooked noodle on to my bed. I trudged downstairs so I would be able to hear the doorbell and sat down on the couch in the living room right next to the entry. I stared into space for a few minutes before I heard the doorbell ring. I jumped to my feet and hurried eagerly to the door.
