So yeah if you’ve been on my other account @FlamingDoge2024 recently you may have noticed that ScratchCat.EXE has been renamed to Gerald, and that all references to ScratchCat.EXE on that account have been changed to Gerald. This is because I feel like the ScratchCat.EXE name is unoriginal and is well outdated. since I can’t really make up names that easily, I decided to just pick Gerald. Would anyone who saw a mod named “Gerald” think that the mod would be about a Scratch Cat with red eyes? No, not really. So yeah, I was actually making an SSS mod based off the AYS series since I wanted to give the “ScratchCat.EXE Mod” the title of a mod. If you guys want me to, I can release the canned build (even though it’s like one song with unchanged chart and unfitting inst, of which just the reversed robot effect Scratchnapped theme, a background change for the first opponent, Gerald, or ScratchCat.EXE as formerly known and as known in the mod, and title screen changes)
So what will I do next? Well, I suppose I should become a Scratch EXE creator. I have a few EXEs in mind. One of which I will be uploading an AYS project of soon (yes, I will still be doing AYS stuff) (UPDATE AS OF 3/4/26: I’m considering making a custom song for Gerald, which may not be possible at my level due to my insufficient knowledge to use automatic copy paste digit charts like in SSS, and AYS projects and the inpracticality of using manual charting, and my inability to make good music, but I may be able to atleast get stuff like artwork and the Gerald chromatic, done, this mod might get revived if I can somehow get the entire song done
