trigger warning this book talks about stuff that happened in ww2. most of the stuff that is talked about in this project was written as satire by the author of the book, who grew up during that era and time. I am merely quoting his book and his writing. I got this book for Christmas from my brother and have been reading a bit of it every morning. and for those of you(practically everybody who sees this) who don't know about this book, it is a memoir about the creation of the 1986 movie transformers the movie. the book talks about what it says it does but what the back and summary don't cover is the wild stuff in between the parts about the movie. here's an example directly from the book in chapter six: interview with Optimus prime: "Ron: Megatron was allied with Hitler and the axis powers? Optimus: does that really surprise you? Ron: no what surprises me is that it was also kept quiet. Optimus:it had to be. we were battling the decepticons in the deadly game of shadows, which is what espionage is. Ron:does that mean Megatron and the deceptions were able to shrink down to human size like the autobots? Optimus: yes, the deceptions were able to assume human form and dimension using a version of the transubstantiation process, but no, they did not do it in the same way we did. Ron:what was their method? Optimus: their greatest scientist, Dr. thanakol, perfected a small, molybdenum based robotic parasite grown in a laboratory from a devitalized decepticon's cyber-stem cells. when introduced into a human host through a bodily aperture, or in food or drink it quickly expanded into and through the human skeleton, glandular, lymphatic, and neurological structures, eventually permeating every biological cell over which it then assumed complete motor control. and then it replicated the strength and transformative power of that particular donor decepticon throughout the organism. the process was excruciating for the human host, which was fully aware of its loss of self-determination during the process, but unable to do anything to prevent its decepticon parasite from doing the evil it wanted. all atempts to neutralize and remove the parasite proved fatal to the host..." um yeah. that might be a bit(lot) to take in so here's a summary the deceptions were sided with Hitler during world war 2 and could infect humans with a parasite that turned them into robots with human skin that could also transform. and during the change from human to robots the person felt an extreme amount of pain every single second. damn that's still a lot to take in lol but yeah this was written by the writer for the first, most iconic, and (in my opinion) the greatest transformers film ever. also this book was read through and approved for publishing by Hasbro. yeah Hasbro the company that brought you nerf, my little pony, Peppa pig, Play-Doh, furby, Stretch Armstrong, Easy-Bake Oven, and countless iconic board games, approved of natzi robots that painfully turned humans into robots. although to be fair they also own the Ouija board but that's a story for another time. but how is nobody anywhere talking about this book? heck even ai doesn't know about half the things talked about in it so tere's nobody in the entire world discussing it! HOW!
hasbro for the properties, Ron friedman for the wild book, and me for writing this little rant.
