About me, roleplay experience, and who I’m applying for: Hello! I’m an experienced roleplayer, mostly active in Generations. I’ve had a lot of cats here: Mintbreeze, Woodfish, Peonywillow, Jinli, Crimsonkit, Quakingwave, Flamepaw, Paragon, Alexander, and currently (not for much longer) Saffron. I’m trying to get back into roleplaying more, because it really did bring some joy into my life when I really needed it. I typically go by Xavier and I use he/him. His ambition is tempered by his hesitance to take risks and his tendency to lose interest in his goals. He acts on instinct and insight, seeking the answers behind others’ masks. He holds grudges, never letting go of even slight wrongs. He rarely takes others’ ideas to heart, sometimes even going against what they say just to search for some sort of a respite from boredom. The cause of the extra chromosome is nondisjunction, where during cell division the cell does not split chromosomes correctly, creating a cell with two X chromosomes and a Y chromosome. Because of the extra X, male torties can have a dominant and a recessive red allele along with the Y, which leads to the three colors. Klinefelter’s Syndrome is fairly common in humans. Symptoms vary widely, and can be physical and/or neurological. Some examples of symptoms include atypical body proportions, infertility, coordination issues, osteoporosis, learning difficulties, speech delays, and is comorbid with several other mental health conditions. Having Klinefelter Syndrome means that person can be at a higher risk for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, autoimmune diseases, seizure disorders, gynecomastia, and some others. There is no way to prevent the disorder from occurring, but there are treatments available such as different therapies, like hormone replacement therapy and physical therapy. ⱽᵒⁱᶜᵉ ᵒᶠ ᵀʰᵉ ᴴᵘⁿᵗᵉᵈ: “ᴮᵉ ˢʷⁱᶠᵗ, ˢᵗʳⁱᵏᵉ ᵗʳᵘᵉ, ᵇᵉ ʷʰᵉʳᵉ ˢʰᵉ'ˢ ⁿᵒᵗ, ˡᵉᵗ ʸᵒᵘʳ ʰᵉᵃʳᵗ ᵐᵒᵛᵉ ʸᵒᵘ.” Stingray Specific: (Research Continued) With Stingray, he’ll have issues with coordination, speech delays, difficulty expressing feelings, and is sometimes prone to impulsive behavior. He will also not be as assertive or confident as his peers, and needs extra time to process speech. Not a zodiac one. ⱽᵒⁱᶜᵉ ᵒᶠ ᵀʰᵉ ᴴᵉʳᵒ: "ʸᵒᵘ ᵈᵒⁿ'ᵗ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵗᵒ ᵈᵒ ᵗʰⁱˢ ᵃˡᵒⁿᵉ.” Potential family dynamics: CROCUSFAITH - At first, Stingray will resist his dad’s attempt to protect him, eager to seek out what he thinks he must know. After it bites him when he gets too close to what he wasn’t supposed to see, he might run back to seek solace under the protection of Crocusfaith. If he doesn’t, he’ll be left with long-standing guilt for being foolish. REMEMBRANCEMIST - Stingray admires his mom’s willingness to encourage him to try new things and find adventure. Something in his heart calls to it. In the beginning, he finds a reprieve from boredom by investigating her craft- healing, after all, is a complicated task. But sooner rather than later, his mind can no longer be occupied by such things. SIBLINGS - Stingray will try to find common ground with his siblings, but depending on their interests and willingness to interact with him, he may become colder or friendlier towards them. GENERAL - Stingray may not always enjoy the company of some of his family, but he won’t feel any hatred or animosity towards them.
