Hey guys, I'm back! Scroll down for story. Tallulah POV. “If I open my eyes-” I instantly sing, plucking at the strings. I take a deep breath. And the music starts to flow. “If I open my eyes, I’m afraid of what I’ll find, Are you really there? Will you leave me behind? - No, no.” I think. “Ah! Have I left reality behind?” Is this right or is it wrong? I can sing my own song, And dance to your beat, Though I haven’t known you for long. You tell me I’m funny, And you call me baby, honey, And your smile is so bright, It makes the whole world sunny. “Is this for that secret crush of yours?” I yelp and turn around. June leans against the doorframe. “Jeez louise!” I place a hand over my heart. “Scared me half to d3ath.” “Is it?” “Fine, yes,” I admit. “How long have you been standing there?” “Long enough.” She smirks. “Continue.” “I can’t with you watching me!” “Just try.” Is this right or is it wrong? I can sing my own song, And dance to your beat, Though I haven’t known you for long. “That doesn’t count, that was just repeating a bit from earlier.” “It’s called a chorus, June.” I mock roll my eyes. She laughs. “I’m not a musician like you, I’m a sewing… person.” “Seamstress?” “Yes, that.” She crosses her arms. “Anyway, we’re going to the salon at one.” “Alright.” June leaves and I write down my lyrics so far. Maybe I should text Emily… No, she’ll be in school right now. Plus, she has better things to do than listen to me.
