This is fumantus, the cause of "wild" fires on my planet. turning tree's to ash and then burns them.
It lives in the core of Plannentiet, my planet, btw, and comes out every 20 years to burn a continent. Bjorn has the power to restore the trees, so that's an upside. It likes the flavor of ash and flaming crickets, or crickets it sets on fire. Don't get too close, it's theorised that it's undead, look in its eyes, white and flaming. The fire creates toxic, flammable fumes that are extremely deadly. Good luck surviving it.
