I really love this guy omg. Also if you're worried about him not being used if I win him, definitely don't!! I've made him part of Belli's story, and she is literally in my top 10 favorite ocs (i have over 400) so he will DEFINITELY be used. If I win him, I plan on making a pmv to Pidgeon, the song in this project, and I will also finish the animation sketches. I might finish the drawing sketches before the results come out for the dta, but I also might not. I also may add more. Who knows!!! Also he is a chimera I swear legitamately forgot about the other characters in the dta and that one of them was already a chimera Name: Kalrit Evergreen Species: Chimera Personality: as a kid, he was relatively shy, and a little but dumb. He loved his best friend Belli, and could be very silly around her, but he generally prefered being quiet. As an adult, he is mostly just silent. He doesn't interact with strangers unless they interact with him, and even then he keeps conversations short. Other general info: -he wears the bandage on his eye because one eye is a deer eye, and one is a cat eye, which makes his vision very strange. He prefers to wear the bandage over his deer eye to help with coordination. - he can fly, but he doesn't usually find much need for it. - he loves to sing! He used to write songs a lot. - he can spit an acid which is very dangerous. It melts metal!! - he is a chimera, which is VERY rare. Usually if an animal is born a hybrid, it is genetically unable to breed. But generally hybrids are quite rare. However, any animal born of two different species (for example, a deer and a fox) even if it turns out to just be a fox, it will still carry some deer genes. So, on VERY rare occasions, if a family tree has a LOT of different animals in it, a child may be born a chimera- a mix of all the animals in its family tree. Hybrids are very looked down on, as 'freaks', but chimeras are so rare that others are generally terrified of them. Backstory: Ok I'm gonna keep this very short because it can easily be very long. When kalrit was born, his parents were so freaked out that he was some weird amalgamation that they put him up for adoption. He grew up in the same orphanage as Belli, where they became friends, being the only hybrids there. Belli really did like him, but had a temper, and often took it out on him, until they eventually had a big argument. A week later, Belli was chosen. Not by a new set of parents- by. Well the easiest way to describe it is this world's version of the Hunger Games. Every year, a handful of orphans are chosen at random to be thrown into this huge dome where a ferocious creature lives. They have to fight for their lives, and the whole thing is televised. Nobody has ever survived. Kalrit was horrified. He didnt even get to speak to Belli before she left; but they did get to wave goodbye. Even without words, they could tell from eachothers faces that they were sorry for arguing, and they would miss eachother. Belli ends up dying on live tv, and Kalrit watches. He is devestated. Through his time at the orphanage, nobody adopts the freak chimera. So eventually, he is released when he is old enough. But he has no job experience, no money, and little to no knowledge of the outside world. He ends up living in the forest, alone and always cold. Eventually, Mika comes to visit him. She isn't an animal- more of a spirit, an angel created to help creatures on earth. She is also assembling a gang of dead guys to help fix the world. She explains to Kalrit that she chose Belli as one of the creatures for this task. She can't choose him, as she cannot choose two animals from the same generation, but she will watch over him, and so will Belli, until he passes. She leaves Kalrit with a necklace as a reminder than he is never alone. She then dissapears, leaving Kalrit with the knowledge that he is safe and loved. And for the rest of his life, the cold, lonely forest feels a little bit warmer.
