The Warrior Code: (The Cats' Laws) Defend Your Clan: A warrior's soul belongs to their Clan. You must be willing to give your life to protect your kin and your borders from rivals or predators. The Order of the Fresh-Kill: The most vulnerable must be cared for first. No warrior may eat until the elders, the queens, and the kits have been fed. Hunting for sport is forbidden; every life taken must be thanked and used to sustain the Clan. The Sanctity of Kits: No warrior shall neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if that kit belongs to a rival Clan. The future of all Clans depends on the young. The Deputy’s Ascent: When a deputy dies or retires, a successor must be chosen before moonhigh. A deputy must have mentored at least one apprentice before they are eligible to lead. The Leader’s Word: The word of the Clan Leader is law. While a leader should listen to their deputies and elders, their final decision must be obeyed by all members of the Clan. The Truce of the Full Moon: There shall be no fighting between Clans during a Gathering.
