Press space to see the demonstration ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Arbor Carnivorans, in a changing world, change as well, resulting in the Sabulo Buailteoir. These descendants have convergently evolved to that of sea scorpions of Earth's past, their stinger growing bigger and stronger for more efficient hunting. They are ambush predators who lie in wait within the sand, waiting for prey to swim by before they lunge from their hiding spot at their victims. However, due to the Venator gaineamh also occupying this niche, they have evolve a thicker exoskeleton, majorly in their heads which have formed into a thick, near rocky shield from predators. another thing that has dramatically shift is their third set of legs, which have disappeared and instead have become a near fin-like structure for quick bursts of speed for quicker strikes.
One funny thing that I did when making this creature was that I literally just gave it's scientific name a quite simple name, for when translated, its name is simply "Sand Striker," which it does very well :)
