Realism Level: Extremely Low It all begins in 1917. The Germans made the decision to continue the pause of unrestricted submarine warfare, keeping the United States out of the war. On top of it in 1917 they decide not to send the Zimmermann Telegram. The war continues on just as before, and the Germans begin to send troops from Russia to other fronts like Greece, Italy, and of course France. The Germans do not send the spring offensive off like they did in our timeline because the Americans aren't in the war yet. Woodrow Wilson gains popularity, but this plummets in 1919 when the United States declares war on the Germans as they have finally resumed their unrestricted submarine warfare due to famines across their rural and even urban areas. On a good note, for the Germans, they've managed to sign peace with the Greeks and have secured territory in Belarus the Baltics and Ukraine. The Ottomans with more German help, have managed to keep the British out of Anatolia for the most part, and have reached a stalemate with the Brits with some minor Kurdish uprisings led by Simko Shikak in Persia as well. The Germans have a large offensive in France at this time, but since they have lower supply than the French, they are pushed back as the American arrive. Woodrow Wilson almost dies of an early stroke, and his Vice President refuses to take the mantle when Wilson is incapacitated leaving the job to Bainbridge Colby, a deeply unpopular and unelected president. American forces arrived in Germany and the Germans capitulated first, then the Austrians, then the Ottomans, but not Bulgaria by mid 1920. The Bulgarians refused to take place in any treaties and kept their land. The Ottomans surrendered, and Kurdistan was created in the east. Also, the Armenians were given their own state. The French were occupied during most the war, so Britain claimed all of Mesopotamia as they worked for it the most. There was a Serb uprising, followed by a Green Montenegrin uprising from Serbia, which both were fighting Bulgaria. The Hungarian Soviet Republic successfully takes all of Hungary besides Illyria, and the Kriz Republic is formed in most of Illyria. While Austria gets to keep part of South Tyrol, and Italy is robbed in the peace treaty to an even greater extent. The Irish revolution is also taking place and is gaining traction. The Germans collapsed after the War, and the Bavarian Soviet Republic, and Spartakusbund successfully rose up. However, the Kapp Putsch took place in Berlin, causing Rosa Luxemburg to retreat to Saxony, a place full of communist sympathizers. However, Weimar Republic sympathizers in the Freikorps backed by France and took control of western Germany breaking away from Kapp in Prussia. Also, the Poles have taken upper Silesia to protect minorities as well. Finally, former German client states like Mackensen in Wallachia are still in power yet unstable. Also, the United Baltic Duchy exists, along with the Ukrainian People's Republic and Free Belarus fighting the Soviet Union which has won the Russian civil war. Georgia, another German client state still survives, but without German support, all these client states might soon fall to Russia. Finally, in Romania is still a rump state, hoping to reclaim German Wallachia in the South and Dobruja. More Stuff: Lithuania is a republic. Neutral nations in WW1 stay the same. Rif took control of northern Morocco. Denmark took control of some German territories. Leaders of Weimar Republic (Freikorps) is Gustav Noske, and Wilhelm Groener. Cannon Events for future start date in 1921: Italian Civil War American Civil War (Will be explained later) Death of Kapp
I made the map and the scenario so all me. Might be an odd scenario but it's surely fine right. If you have any questions about leaders or lore ask away.
