This round's arena is a vast arctic tundra with a sprawling frozen lake at its center. Not only is the arena constantly frigid, but days and nights last three days each, causing all tributes to experience a skewed sense of time. The Cornucopia, located at the center of the lake, gleams as it reflects sunlight. It houses winding, convoluted ice tunnels full of mysteries, though when the ice melts, it becomes inaccessible to all. This is because the lake is impossible to swim in, even if thawed, due to its numbingly cold waters. Because of the arena conditions, tributes must stay wary of snow blindness, frostbite, and howling winds. In addition, abnormally large polar bear and walrus mutts prowl the arena, oftentimes blending into the environment. The weather is a significant factor in the health and strength of all tributes. All information regarding the current weather in the arena and how it affects tributes is below. Please refer to it before battling, logging tribute health, etc, as it may affect certain stats significantly. Additional announcements during checks will be made to ensure that all have an equal understanding of how the weather will affect battles.
