"Turning back the clock can offer insight, but it can also offer pain." [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] She opened her eyes to find white. White paneled walls, white floor, white ceiling. Where was she? She sat up, looking around. Everything was white. Not much for her to see. She was on a white cot with a white blanket and a white pillow. She racked her brain for any information... and found it empty. She didn't know who she was. Immediate panic set in and she backed into a corner, breathing quickly. A speaker crackled to life. "You're awake. Excellent." "Wha-?" "Now then, let's begin. Do you remember who you are?" "I- no? Where am I-" "Do you recognize the name 'Bakugou'?" "No, what are-" "Excellent. You must have many questions, but first we must give you a designation." A... designation?" Finally, she could get a name. "As you decided your villain name would be [KZCHHHT], your designation while you reside in this room shall be Experiment 050R3." 050R3 blinked. "...okay." "While you are in here, you will undergo tests. They will make you stronger. Remember that." [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] 050R3 watched nervously as she was strapped to a table by a few people wearing lab coats and masks. "...Will it hurt-?" "That depends." "On what?" "Your pain tolerance." She felt a needle enter her arm. "Wha" Pain coursed through her body, and she convulsed. She felt like she was on fire. A scream ripped from her throat as the agony ramped up, and she activated her Quirk wildly. "****-! Drug her! We need to fix this-" Something cold joined the pain, numbing her body and mind slowly. She went limp, her Quirk dying down. As darkness crept into her vision, she heard one of the scientists speak. "We'll have to get rid of her resistance. Split this personality again, but keep the part that doesn't trust us. We could use that for... other tests." [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] 050R3 woke up confused. What had happened? Her mind was muddled, she wasn't sure how much time had passed. She was strapped to a table. (...huh. Is it tests again?) The scientists came in again. (Oh. Yep.) "How are you feeling?" "Everything's fuzzy. It hurts." "It's to make you stronger." She paused, then relaxed. "Oh. Okay!" Well, if it was to make her stronger, that was okay. She needed to be stronger, that was a good thing! She didn't know why she needed to be stronger, but she probably didn't need to know. She trusted the scientists. They would make her better. One of the scientists studied her. They seemed to be the one in charge. "...your new name is Trust. Your designation is still 050R3." Trust nodded. "Okay!" The head scientist looked a bit taken aback at her complete compliance, glancing up at a camera in the corner of the room. Nothing happened. "...Alright, the first one works. Activate the second." She felt a needle enter her neck, and everything immediately went black. [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] 050R3 woke up and immediately started thrashing. Why the hell was she tied down!? Who were these people? She had to get away from them, who knew what they would do- "050R3." The head scientist stepped forward, and she stilled, eyeing them warily. "What the **** are you gonna do to me?" "Nothing." "Yeah right." She glared at them. "You'll probably try to stick me with that needle you've got up your sleeve." They raised an eyebrow. "Perceptive." Another scientist was rapidly scribbling notes on a clipboard. As she was focused on that one, she didn't notice the syringe until it was jabbed into her neck. "NO-!" She thrashed frantically. She could feel her body going numb. She didn't want to black out- And then she was gone. [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] Trust looked up as the panels in the wall slid aside and a man made out of mist stumbled inside. He was wearing a suit and had a metal bracer around his neck. Something seemed to be wrong with his mist. Parts of it were billowing out like smoke, parts were thin. Thin enough she saw what looked to be light blue hair and blue eyes, staring at nothing. She watched quietly as he was strapped down to the table by some of the scientists. "He's unstable again, get him fixed." "Who's that?" One of the scientists glanced over. "Designation KVR0. He's a bit like you." She perked up. "Like me? Does he go through tests too?" "Yes, though he has gone through most of them already. He simply gets... unstable, at times." "Oh. Cool." The head scientist gestured in her general direction. "Get the other mindset back, we need to see how she reacts to him." She looked up as one of the scientists stopped next to her, holding a syringe. [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~]
Wary studied the man made out of mist. He seemed... friendly. Huh, that was a first. Usually she immediately distrusted anyone she came across. The man--KVR0, was it?--seemed very dead. She eyed the scientists as they bustled about, injecting the occasional syringe into the body. This wasn't any of her business. She sat in the corner, staring directly at the camera. She knew they were watching her. They always were. (Can't trust them. Can't trust anyone. Except... maybe KVR0.) [~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~] Trust hummed softly as she put together the 2000 piece white puzzle on the floor. They'd given it to her to test something, maybe her brain? She didn't know, but it was probably important. The panels in the wall slid open, and she glanced up as a television was wheeled in. It had the words 'sound only' on the screen. She sat up. Nothing happened. "...hello?" She tilted her head. A man's voice came out of the speakers. "Hello, Trust. How are you doing today?" He sounded kind. "I'm doing good. And you?" "Ah, how polite. I'm well." She shifted a bit. "If you don't mind me asking... who are you?" "My name is All For One." "Oh. That's a weird name." He chuckled. "I suppose." "Then again, I'm called Trust. So I'm probably not one to talk." They continued to talk for about half an hour. Trust liked this man, he made her feel comfortable. Like she could tell him anything. She did feel that for pretty much anyone she met, but with this man it was more so. He felt like... a father. He wasn't her actual father, of course, but he was pretty much the same thing. As they talked, she learned that the tests were to give her more minds like her and Wary. He said something about an original, but her brain fuzzed and she had to apologize profusely because whatever he'd said had escaped her. He accepted her apology kindly, and they continued to talk. When the time came for the television to be taken out, Trust wilted. "Will you come back, mister All For One?" "Of course." She brightened. As the television was wheeled out, she looked down at the puzzle... which she'd finished as they were talking. First FiW Part with a picture! Done in my Cookie Run artstyle because why not, also I really don't wanna do complicated stuff :') Since I kind of can't write the normal storyline of Fear is Weakness at the moment, I've decided to write what happened during Katsumi's first three months in the testing room. (I might write the first time she died as well) First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/951697322/ Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1234287875/ Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1326596496/
