Chapter 3 After I meet everyone we get to go outside, me and the group of my new friends go out and hide I the corner. Sarah pulls out her phone and starts looking at different pride flags and asking us to guess. I go first she picks a orange and purple one I instantly noticed it is the lesbian flag and call out, "The lesbian flag. One of the most pretty flags in my opinion." When I stop talking I remember something I should tell them, "Oh ya I like a older boy his name is... Asher." When I say his name he runs across the football field with his friends and I blush so much someone would think I was a tomato, "That's h-him, the boy that I like." Everyone is already saying their opinion Sky says. "Ya he is kinda cute but I don't like him that much." Sarah says, "He is beautiful what are you saying! You would ask him out." That last bit she says with a sly smile, and a bit of a laugh. I am confused when she tells me to ask him out like I haven't even talked to him, "But I haven't even talked to him yet, why would I ask him out?" "Because you would so cute together. Shorter brown haired boy with freckles and blue eyes dating the older boy with white hair and dark brown eyes that are so close to black. You would be perfect." She didn't notice but as she was talking the boy walked closer to us his friends far behind, "So you really think I'm that cute, ha, I guess your cool enough let's be friends." He puts his hand out as the teachers start to take the kids inside, "Come on don't want to be late now do we." He calls, I pull myself up and usher everyone to get up, "Wait for my other friends." We run all the way to the door laughing until I see Drew and Scott, "Well, well, well isn't it mr.gay freak who are them they other gay weirdos." They all start laughing me and my friends until Asher speaks up with a booming voice, "Who are you and why do you think you have the right to make fun of a person for who they like." The boy get a little scared but stay until he says, "Leave I am Asher senior year boy and you shouldn't mess with me." All the boy run off and I look at Asher and ask, "Why did you stick up for me, you barely know me and still treat me like a friend you've had forever. Also those kids in the front just stop being my friend at lunch because I was gay and had a crush on you." His face gets red with rage, "They stopped being You're friend because you liked men!" Shy and Sam try to calm him down, "But now I have you guys and we still have to het to class." We all run off and say our good byes.
