Bobtails are natural genetic mutations, and can occur in many different cat breeds. While they generally don’t majorly impact the cat’s life, they can lead to arthritis, especially in the tailbone area. This causes pain in the affected area and often leads to difficulty with movement. Bobtails can also cause issues with a cat’s digestive system. Both arthritis and digestive issues get worse as the cat gets older. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, shortened to ADHD throughout this section, is a neurological condition that primarily deals with— as the name suggests— hyperactivity, inattentive behaviours and impulsivity. It is often divided into two main groups, focusing on inattention and hyperactivity respectively. According to “Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)” (Harvard Health Publishing, October 15 2024), Wolverinekit will experience symptoms relating more to inattention, such as becoming easily distracted, forgetfulness, and struggling to follow through with requests. ASD is different for each person, and no definition can accurately encapsulate everyone’s experiences. Wolverinekit will struggle with loud, harsh noises, overwhelming environments, and catching social cues, among others.
