Bloodline: Ephemeris Starlet: A pair of heavily armored boxing gloves/gauntlets. They reach to about her mid arm/below the elbow. Their main ability is electrical absorption and distribution. June can charge the gauntlets through various means, though primarily relies on charge from things like generators, batteries, varying electrically charged items, etc. (There are rumors that she, at one point during her hunter career, had used a human as a source, but there are no official records.) Once charged, the gauntlets can release said energy, usually through direct contact. Aka punching. For frame of reference, think about Fullmetal Alchemist with Lieutenant Armstrong’s alchemy technique with his brass knuckles. Her starlet has been known to have a bit of temperamental streak, mostly due to the incident which caused the Lichtenberg scars on June’s left side. Backstory: June was adopted when she was young, incredibly young. She doesn’t have much memories of her biological father or mother, but its never been an important thing to remember. She’d always been content with her “Pa”, Monday “Mons” Reyes, who adopted her. He was always her dad, enough that, despite their vast difference in appearence, she sometimes forgot that she was adopted. And when he adopted two twins who’d lost their own parents too? Well, of course, she stepped up to the plate of big sister at the ripe age of six with gusto. As a hunter, her father was always coming back with thrills of chaos and adventure, and June always aspired to be alike to him. So, when she manifested her bloodline, learning that she would be like him? June was over the moon. She began her time as trainee at the age of 12, as soon as she was able to, and did everything to live up to the Reyes family legacy. When she finished her training, June began field missions under her father, working as a dynamic duo. Her father, of a lesser bloodline, was more suited to defense compared to the hard-hitting blows and close-combat scenarios that June would find herself in due to the Ephemeris blood in her veins. She threw herself at most situations recklessly, evident by the lichtenberg figures that coat her left side and her damaged eyes from all the exposure to her Starlet’s own lightning. Unfortunately, tragedy would come for the Reyes eventually. Scouting with her father for a low-tier nightmare, the situation got dicey. It was more than she or her father could chew. She made it out of the astral plane, but Mons was declared MIA after several weeks with no sign of him. June retired from hunter work afterward, not wanting to let her siblings lose another familial figure. She became their primary caretaker, and started to work as a researcher for A2 at 25.
