Every time you play, the same encounters play out, but always varying. Differing stats, differing playstyles, everything. Every run features the same enemies, coming at you at different angles, utilizing different opportunities. Scroll down for mechanics to note that aren't mentioned anywhere in the DEMO. In the earlier stages, your health is tracked by the icon at the top. This is to prevent save-scumming. After every battle won, you are given the option to either boost your attack by 1.5x, or boost your health by 1.5x, & get a full heal. You cannot hit bosses with direct damage unless you have the correct equipment. You can defeat a boss indirectly, by surviving a varying amount of turns against it. Items that boost stats do not boost them permanently, they boost the stats as is, & never again. (For example, let's say you have a base attack stat of 450 & you get a Sharpened Pencil. 450x1.1=495. If you were to boost your strength from now on, the equation would be 495x1.5=742.5, not (450x1.1)1.5=742.5. This may create discrepancies in your head that you cannot account for. Sorry in advance. This game is in an unfinalized state, & is subject to change.
