so what happened was that people at maplecis hated the remade maplecis and considered it as a demerger (despite the demerger being cancelled), so some from maple inc decided to protest which caused alot of maple inc channels (TC, Flyte Television, Splatoon Network, and etc.) to go off air except some european versions of said channels and the splatoon universe version of sn, after the protests ended, the guy who started it got fired including a 50 employee layoff, nothing was damaged, but it disrupted normal times
