In spite of the upcoming election results, Beetleglade does not feel nearly as prepared as they should be. Either way, they put together a list of ideals that shine wishes to carry into the clan if sol were to win. SUPPORT THE WEAK AND YOUNG: We walk so they can run. Those who are injured, elderly, or young deserve a safe place to live. Beetle expects cats to treat these cats with respect and be willing to help them out. In shine's eyes; the clan is not a clan without caring for one another. OATH OF THE WARRIOR: If you spend your entire apprenticeship training to fight, and you run away from a battle, you are a coward. Every warrior will swear an oath to protect all cats in ErosionClan and all kits, regardless of allegiance, if they are in danger. TRUST EACH OTHER: In a harsh environment, you have to trust the others around you. Apprentices will often be paired up after signing up under a system Beetle will run, swapping partners every OORP week. Every cat should know one another and trust one another. EXTRA LESSONS: All apprentices have to be taught etiquette and how to dig. Burrowing can save a cat's life, such as in extreme heat, burrowing into the ground can bring you to cooler temperatures and prevent heat sickness. BELIEFS: ErosionClan should not abandon their core values of respecting the dead, no matter their allegiance. If a cat dies and nobody is there to mourn, Beetleglade will personally mourn the deceased. Every cat will be sent to StarClan or the Dark Forest with someone having mourned them. OPEN DEN POLICY: Not just their den. If a cat wants to speak to Beetle, just ask! Shine will make sure it's private, as sol feels as though an election to hire a leader who would be ignorant to the wishes of the clan would be more or less idiotic. DO YOUR PART: Beetleglade will punish laziness. When you are living in a territory such as ErosionClan's, with exhaustingly high temperatures at daytime and freezing temperatures at nighttime, you will have to play your part in the clan. They will keep tallies to anyone who doesn't help, and too many will result in being directly monitored by another warrior. HARSH CHOICES: If something were to ever happen that could threaten the sake of the entire clan or it's foundation, it will be brought to a clan. A leader is not allowed to hold secrets from the clan, and Beetle would despise the idea of a secretive leader. We all work together.
