Hi dolls!! lets talk about the problem on scratch with impersonation and lying about who you are. To begin it is totally fine to go by an alias or different name if you aren't comfortable with sharing your real one. But when you pretend to be a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON for a reason I don't know that's when you are in the wrong. So what counts as impersonation? pretending to be someone that already exists to either, 1. make fun of them or cause them to get in trouble or 2. gain popularity. This is very wrong because this is a real person and you are taking their name and entire persona to use for your own selfish reasons. next what counts as lying about who you are? using a fake name is fine, but lying about your ethnicity, your face (really big one), or what you do is not okay. Why is taking someones face bad? let me ask you if you posted a picture of yourself and someone took that picture and used it for their own face reveal and got credit and praise for YOUR face, how would that make you feel? If they are insecure enough to take someone elses face maybe they shouldn't be posting face reveals. This is a huge problem on scratch and this is why I wanted to bring it to your attention. If your doing this stop, its a awful, immature and selfish thing to do. You can and are offending people.
