The DTA addiction is too strong I LOVE DTAS RAAH If you don't know what a DTA is, it means 'draw to adopt'! Basically, you choose what character you would like to have, and then draw it, make a pmv for it, whatever you want, be creative!! I will then choose my favorite out of all the entries, and that one will win the character! Basic rules: -no ai. If I find out you have been using ai I will never interact with you again. -You can use bases, but you must be VERY clear that it is a base. If you use a base without credit, you will be disqualified. Using a base will also not help with your score a lot. However, if you do your entry and then use a base to like. Add it into a screenshot for a show its backstory is based on or something, that would be rad, I love that stuff!! -You can only win one character!! If you do enter for multiple, it would be useful if you could rate your preferances for which you would like to win most!! -if I see you commenting anything along the lines of 'oooh i will never win your entry is SOO good' it will make me angry and you most likely won't win. By all means, compliment the other artists!! That's encoraged!! But complimenting another person by putting yourself down just makes everyone uncomfortable. -obviously, no bullying other entries or saying other people won't win. No slight jabs like 'oh this is great but you forgot this...' nothing like that. This is for fun. I do not want war. General tips: -Make your entries mobile friendly!! I use my phone, so if you for example make multiple drawings and I have to click space to see more, I will never know that there are more drawings. Unless you write it in the description. In which case I will have to go inside the project and change the code to view them and then I will be annoyed. - I am WAY more into effort than quality. I want to see that you love this design, and will use it if you win it. Don't get me wrong, this is an art competition, and so art will have a big part in it. But I am very much looking for effort and devotion. - backstories are VERY important to me. It shows you have some use for the character, and won't just leave it sat in a box somewhere. (You don't have to do like. Full fleshed out backstories. Just a summary, or even just a bio for the character, is fine) - you can change the designs as much as you want! Change the species, change the gender, change their colour palette if you really want, I don't care!! As long as it is STILL RECOGNISABLE as the original design, literally do what you want. If you change it to the point where it isn't clearly based off the original design anymore, your entry will not be considered. - Whatever comments I do or don't leave on people's entries has NOTHING to do with wether or not you'll win. Please do not be disheartened if i left an 'OMG THIS IS SO RAD' comment on one person's entry and I left an 'oo cute' comment on yours. It literally just has to do with my energy levels through the day. Sometimes I can be VERY. bad at messaging. General info about the designs: -Stick- He's some sorta weird deer cat bird I suppose..I like his colours a lot. He is one of my favorites. -Light- the part where his body splits in half is a mouth, he has a tongue on the bottom half! I was gonna draw it but I couldn't get the angle right so I gave up. His tongue is probably yellow like his eyes. -Fern- i actually only added her because my mum said I needed to add a rhino to my dta. Mum doesn't even know what a dta is. -Worm- i call him Fireworm I love him so much he is so silly I think he's technically the most boring of the designs but he is definitely one of my favorites. -Bunny- I like her colours and I love the song Hey Bunny and she reminded me of that song which is why that song was put on her slide -Sharky- I LOVE SHARKY he is my favorite by a mile I love him SO much I was actually very close to keeping him he is my baby my little boy I LOVE HIM. Also the yellow markings on him are scars he has yellow scars -Viper- I only added Viper because I wanted to draw a snake. So she is a cat snake. Yay.
