This project shows the history of the Western Roman Empire, starting from the partition of the whole empire by Theodosius the Great, all the way until the last Roman Emperor was deposed. Simply click the green flag and get your popcorns. Note that certain smaller states and invasions are not shown as they were not major and because the main topic is the Western Roman Empire and its major rivals.
Notes: *The concept of a national flag didn't exist back then, instead they used vexilloids/labraums or symbols. *As stated in the game, all smaller rump states are shown as one, since I would have to draw a lot of borders and a lot of names for each (Which there is no place for) *Dark red is directly controlled/proper territory, while light red are foedratis/indirectly controlled territory. *Foedratis are germanic tribes that would gain land in the Roman empire in exchange for military service with Rome. All foedratis are indicated with an "F" symbol. * Certain events are hidden because they are either unverified or unimportant/minor.
