First: This one Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1282695871/ Prologue Elora moaned in pain from inside the den. “Tiago!” She cried, “The kits, their coming!” Tiago jumped down from the tree, his paws hitting the earth before he raced to the entrance of the den and stood guard. “Don’t worry Elora, the kits are going to make it. I’ll make sure of it.” Tiago breathed his voice soft and alert. “Oh Tiago, they're coming!” A mocking yet familiar voice said. Tiago’s head snapped up as he looked into the trees. “Paco!” He sighed. “Is Renia here with you?” A female lynx popped her head out from behind Paco. “Tiago? Is that Elora in there?” She gasped, “Are the Kits finally coming?” Tiago nodded and opened his mouth to speak but Renia quickly hopped down from the tree and sighed, “Male’s are quite useless in a time like this! Move out of the way, Tiago.” Tiago didn’t even argue. He moved over and let Renia in the den. “Oh you poor thing…” Her fading voice was the only thing left before Paco jumped down to stand guard with Tiago. “Wow.” Paco huffed. “I can’t believe this, my little brother is getting his first litter, today.” As the two brothers talked, the tiny high pitched mews of newborn kits wailing for milk was carried on the wind followed by the comforting words of Renia. “Elora, you did it.” She sighed, “Your first litter has been delivered and you have not lost any.” Paco poked Tiago with his paw, “Congratulations Tiago.” He purred, “You're a lucky father.” Renia popped her head out from within the den. “Tiago, Elora is ready for you.” Renia beckoned Tiago with a slight nod of her head. Tiago followed Renia into the den as the first signs of light from the new day were shown. “Tiago.” Elora breathed as he stepped into the den, “The kits are healthy and strong.” Tiago laid his body next to Elora and nuzzled her. “What are you going to name them Elora?” He asked her, looking at the two bundles of fur. Elora thought for a long moment before gesturing to the smaller kit. “The tiny one,” She purred, “Will be named Lino, while his big sister will be named Vaya. I’m sure that she will venture far and wide.”
