Sorry for the bad handwriting I'm not very good with a mouse, but you read the title and the abomination that I drew I'm talking about the heated debate across Minecraft players, which version is better, Bedrock or Java!? I've experienced Bedrock for years and years but I have barely experienced Java so take this with a grain of salt. So, what's the main reason people think Java is better? The modding continuity and lack of bugs. First off, yes, Java has more mods and you don't have to pay for them, but I think most of the marketplace complaint comes from people that regret buying what they did, almost everything I've bought has been worth the money so if you use the marketplace, be careful what you buy, some of the junk on there really isn't worth the money and NEVER pay $20 for a Minecraft mod, the highest I'd go is $10 for a certain texture pack that I'll touch on later. As for bugs... I've never experienced any bad ones, I have experienced weird world generation, and that could very well be a positive because it makes the world funner to explore but it's a double edged sword. Why do people like Bedrock better than Java? Cross platform. This is one of the things that Bedrock has over Java, if you disagree, then you play on PC. I, however don't because I already have the game on Switch and our PC might blow up if I tried. Also ig Bedrock runs better then Java from what I've heard. Why do I like Bedrock better than Java as of current? A couple things. Cauldrons is something I point to a lot when the topic comes up. Bedrock players might actually use tipped arrows, and witch huts give you free potions. Something else that goes along with cauldrons is bridging. Its much funner in Bedrock end of discussion. And the last reason is something you might not care about, Actions And Stuff. I paid $10 for this and it's game changing. Like seriously, look it up. It's not for everyone because of how bouncy and cartoony it is but it adds some much new animations, everything is retextured and it looks great and every item has a 3d model when being held. Java has mods similar like fresh animations but when I look at it, I think that it looks kinda stiff. As a bedrock players there are so many Java features I wish we had but I won't go into them now. Well, at the end of the day it mostly comes down to which version I started on, and the rest is me finding reasons to justify me liking it more. I'd love to spend more time with Java but not being cross platform hurts it. I for one think that having 2 versions is stupid and that Mojang should take the best things out of both versions and make the definitive version. Anyways, that's all for now, bye!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while I'm not really in my Scratch phase right now.
