Deep in SEGA's archives, there exists a prototype version of Sonic Adventure that was made for the SEGA Saturn instead of the Dreamcast. This prototype would later be reworked into the "Sonic World" mode of Sonic Jam. In this scrapped version, an NPC was coded, but never put in the game. It didn't even get a model. This NPC was meant to have relatively simplistic "AI" technology. When a ROM of the prototype was leaked online, the AI ended up somehow being able to search the internet. It ends up stumbling onto the rabbit hole of Sonic.EXE and it's fangames. It found so much EXE content that the majority of it's data was on Sonic.EXE. The AI creates a model for itself, based on a combination of Sonic's design and Tails' design, as they were some of the only models in the files. It could now do what it's data told it to: KILL. It now resides in that ROM file, tearing up Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles over and over again, and messing with the data of any person who happens to be playing his game.
