I saw a huge fire breaking out, killing the leader, 8 warriors, and the medicine apprentice. Then my eyes opened and I realized that it was just another vision. I’m Infinite’Kit, and tomorrow I’ll be an apprentice with my brothers Beetle’Paw, Tail’Paw, and Cotton’Paw. Beetle’Paw is a black tom with orange eyes. Tail’Paw is a white tom with orange eyes. Cotton’Paw is a white tom with blue eyes. When I become a warrior, I’m going to…smoke? Why do I smell smoke? I watched as a huge meteor landed on our campsite so I ran and told my mum about my vision. But this time, the meteor was real. My mom, Glory’Spots, hissed “What are you doing, Infinite’Kit? Our leader has died and Opal’Tail..Opal’Star..Has named me deputy. I’m second in command, so I’m gonna tell her.” I was shocked that my mom was going to tell our leader when she grabbed my scruff and hurried us outside. We had to focus on a new home first. “All cats old enough to swim the rapids, gather for a clan meeting!” I awoke in my cold, bare den and headed out to sit in front of the tree stump and the leader turned her gaze on me. “I’ve gathered you all here to announce something about a certain cat,” She began once the cats had all came to the clearing. “They had known about the huge meteor before it happened. They could’ve warned us all, and my daughter Rhythm’Kit wouldn’t be dead!” The crowd gasped. “This certain cat was not any warrior or apprentice..it was a fellow kit! And the kit it was..” She slid her gaze towards me “Was Infinite’Kit.” The cats were staring at me, whispering and gossiping about me, probably even thinking about me. “Let’s hear what her family has to say, staring with my deputy Glory’Spots.” “I was the cat who told Opal’Star.” Glory’Spots admitted. I stared at her, betrayed “Don’t look at me like that! You should’ve told us.” She snapped. Opal’Star glanced at the next cats, my siblings. “My best friend was Rhythm’Kit!” Cried Tail’Kit “I’, not forgiving you!” “Neither am I!” Yowled Beetle’Kit Cotton’Kit shifted closer to me, wrapping his tail around my paws. “Well, You three will be apprentices. Tail’Paw, your mentor is Steam’Claw. Beetle’Paw, you are apprenticed to Snipe’Tooth. Cotton’Paw, you can have Penguin’Feather for mentor. Infinite’Kit, you won’t be an apprentice for a while.” “Wait. Can I mentor her?” The clans medicine cat Shining’Pelt stepped forward. Opal’Star rolled her eyes “Fine. May Infinite’Paw have the most boring job ever to be heard of in the clans.” And from that day since, I’ve never been happier to stay in the medicine den as Infinite’Sight.
