i included the art process for this piece along with some commentary! press the buttons if you're interested :) ꩜ ‧.°. ── !! i finally was fortunate enough to trade with the great @Whimsy_lux ! i know. it's unbelievable. please go visit her page! her art is so stunning <33 this illustration was genuinely so fun to work on!!! i don't know if it's the painterly-esq rendering style or the fact that the process was quite streamlined this time around but i'd 100% want to experience the feeling again :D you may have noticed that my recent art has been more vibrant compared to my past works (especially 2024 YIKES). and to that i say you have great perception! for the past handful of months, i've been wanting to draw more colorful art, and only recently have i actually been applying it! and i think it's working??? like, don't get me wrong, i still like my somewhat desaturated colors XD, but compared to 2023-2025, i'd say my current art has had a definite improvement colorwise it makes me happy, too :) and i like happy i know the hand pose is weird. ignore it to the best of your ability.
