**I'm @HollyEuca btw this is just an alt I use for random projects** So, recently the new Amalgam chat opened. It was designed to be a new chatroom to be used on its own so people weren't scattered throughout the tens of Grifftopia backups, which are often completely inactive due to people constantly using different chats. (Side note: Amalgam's managers are the hosts of the largest yet inactive backups.) At first I thought the idea of the Amalgam thing was bad and wasn't going to get anywhere, but after some more thought I think it's actually a pretty well-thought-out plan. No more arriving into inactive chats and having nobody to chat with. Just 1 place, and 1 place only, for all to gather. It's a good idea after I gave it some consideration. Anyway, I want to help support the Amalgam plan by introducing an idea help further improve it. What if we moved Amalgam to the Mirapatch studio? Get rid of most/all of the Mirapatch stuff, put the idea of Amalgam in Mirapatch (maybe new name or description?) and have all the chatrooms become one chat there. The studio will no longer house Mirapatch, it will house- well- whatever everybody agrees upon! The managers, which will all be hosts of individual chatrooms to begin with, will each take equal-duration turns being host. The desc, rules, and name will be picked and voted on by the managers. No manager will overpower the other, their say will be equal and balanced. This creates a chatroom based off of many others, put together into one agreeable chat. Before you comment "YER A BAD IDEAAAAAAAA" let me describe the benefits and how this will be distinct from WBC (wonderchat x spamless) and will not have the same troubles/conflicts. The Benefit: The Mirapatch studio has over 600 followers, 5,000+ projects, and 1,250+ total curators/managers based on a studio counting thing. Amalgam, on the other hand, has 10 followers, 46 projects, and 35 curators/managers. To build up the Amalgam studio to Mirapatch's quantity and beyond would take months. People would ask for invites and it would take a while to fulfill all. And, few people know about Amalgam's existence (it has just 10 followers). The Mirapatch studio already has plenty of curators, projects, and is well-known thanks to the large quantity of followers it has amassed. This would be SO much more convenient; people already know where the studio is and already curate. Now to clear up some possible stuff. You might be thinking these: - BRUH you already did this with combining Wonder Chat and Spamless Chat (WBC) and it went badly. There were disagreements and it ended up ending. * I know I can be disagreeable or try to take over. I'm just like that, I guess. I don't wanna be but I am. Anyway the reason I said above there will be equal amounts of power/say between managers was so none of the managers - not me, or anybody else - could dominate or fight about stuff. I wouldn't have any more power than the rest of the managers, and the same goes for them. Nobody can dominate and ruin it, basically like I did. It will all be equal and balanced. Btw, I've been trying to be a little less bossy and try to be better with teams, I'm trying. - You were gonna have thingy chat in the mirapatch studio and then changed your mind. this is the same thing bruv why do u want to do it now -__- * It's not going to be the same as putting just Thingy in the Mirapatch studio. It's going to be all of the chats (Thingy, Mirapatch, Croutons, if they choose to join, and other chat hosts that may choose to join) together as one. The idea of putting Thingy in Mirapatch was thought of in like 2 seconds, I didn't give it much consideration before proposing it as an idea. After giving it more thought I realized there were some cons to it so I took it back. Anyway, I've given lots of thought to this new idea and it makes more sense. Equal power, 1 active chat instead of 100000 dead ones, and peace at last! - People who dislike one or more of the chats in the new chat may not want to move to it. * The studio will not have the name of any existing chats, we'll likely choose a new name. And this chat and its desc will not be based off of 1 chat from the OG chats, it will be a combination of new or old ideas, selected to be put together by managers. So, if a user loathes one chat, they might not hate this one since the one hated chat is merely a component of the new chat. - What will happen to the old chats if everyone moves to the new studio? * That's up to the host of said chat. They can either delete it, shut the comments down, or whatever they want idk. I think hosts who join their chat into the big chat would need to probably close the comments with a link to the new studio. Continue to Notes and Credits:
_____________ To sum it up, we would not be moving to Mirapatch. We would be re-modeling it basically, creating a new, balanced chat, that's always active because it will take the place of dead chats.
