Ok hear me out. I created a lore. So the elf is Cheyenne, Goddess of Truth so basically the opposite of Carmilla. Long, long ago, there were four gods that wove the great pillars of existence: Time, Memory, Dream and Truth. Cheyenne, the goddess of truth was neither cruel nor gentle, but she was clear and direct. But truth always has a shadow On the 1026th anniversary of the creation of the great pillars, Cheyenne revealed the first lie as a form of rebellion against the pillars. When Cheyenne talked of these words, a betrayal shattered the pillars of existence. It was like a bullet, the pillar of truth corrupted and shattered into pieces. From the fracture, a cursed shard of divinity fell too far out and landed in the mortal world. And thus from that shard was Carmilla, a God, killed by lies and reincarnated for the lies. She had a bullet scar on her forehead, a reminder of Cheyenne’s lie. She started eating the flesh of mortals, for the meat made her stronger. She could shapeshift into a cat to attract humans, and later belittle and eat them. They say that to this day, Carmilla is still trying to regain all her strength to invade the heavens above using disillusion as an advantage. Now about what happened to Cheyenne when she spilled the lie, since she was of the heavenly blood, she could not be killed so the other 3 gods decided to banish her from the heavens and now she is living in Elredore, the elven kingdom as Queen Cheyenne. I mean like, she got demoted but she still gets pretty good treatment. And that’s the lore.
