It was born out of a desire to delve into my traumas and past experiences that, as someone with depression, I often supress and forget about. Sonically, "meta" by Th3a @lychiez was inspiring but also just vocoders in general and this one unreleased track of mine called "talkin' business" ♡ ABOUT THE EP ♡ Rewrite The Narrative is a concept EP, where I have flipped through the hundreds of songs I'd written from the summer of 2022-november of 2024, and chose the strongest ones to tell my story and reclaim the fleeting control over my life that I felt then. Documenting heartbreak, life with chronic illness, queer struggles and jealousy.
