Object Invitational 2026 — EP. 1 PROGRESS UPDATE 01 First one of these for O.I! ANIMATION: 12% FINALIZED: 5% GENERAL THOUGHTS: Right, that looks like not much, I'm still transitioning to a new animation style. I've used it in smaller scales in my 409 entries, but never on a scale as large as this so there has been a learning curve for me. But everyday I learn a new technique to make the animating process faster! I really believe this is the right direction to take as One it makes the project less laggy. And Two just looks nicer. This is the most polished a episode of mine has ever looked, and I'm confident this show will come out as the best object show on scratch. Bold statement I know but that's how confident I am in this project! "But with such a long wait between each episode theres no way you'll be able to finish it!" I hear you but trust me things are moving behind the scenes! It's really important I get the base of my animation flow down right in the beginning as this'll allow me create new scenes faster! I have the rough draft of the beginning scenes all animated, just need to finalize anything I feel needs improved. Which is a lot of it but better to get a starting point for each scene and add the details later! After I've finished these beginning scenes I'll post another update this time with more screenshots! And from there the episode should be at 25%. I'm expecting this next update to be in mid - late march! Near my birthday :D EPISODE: This episode has a lot of moving pieces and a lot of foreshadowing I have to put into it. So keep an eye out for tiny details the characters do as they could be important for future plot points! Episode one should be about 10-12 minutes long though it could be more. The challenge is split into 3 parts so we'll see how much I add to each part! This episode will also feature a new voting style which I've never seen done before, (but I'm sure it's been done somewhere). My goal for this new voting system is to give BOTH Mean and Nice characters a chance to shine and not be voted out instantly :D (I'm trying to fix the problems of vote to save and vote to eliminate with this new system! And no it's not just hybrid voting... It's something unique!) WHAT WILL BE OUT IN THE MEAN TIME: I really hate not posting much so I've been working on a few new animations under of this new title: "The Story Of:" You can expect 8 new animations in the coming months. Along with any camp things I post as well. AKA Gamble CONCLUSION: Things are moving and I couldn't be happier! I hope you all can be as hyped about this show as I am when it releases!
