Thx to @SorbetMew7 for the series/contest I really enjoy 5AD. It reminds me a lot of my old comics and I know this comic is going places. I love the characters and the concept is fun! I'd make fanart but I have a lot on my plate as it is, so I thought I'd show my appreciation by entering in the contest instead. Hope you like it! Even if it doesn't make it in, it was still fun to do :) (If these are chosen I'd prefer both to be together since they're integral to each other's characters) 1: Name: Bridge Pertise (literally my sona in the 5AD universe) Age: 15 (based on Virtue's physical appearance age from TR) God parent: Aphrodite Human parent: (just put whatever tbh) Ability: Rizz ig lol (she's also a skilled fighter but that isn't related to her lineage); she also has a fire pendant that she found on her quest to find out who her god parent was, basically gives her fire powers that she has little control over and relies heavily on her emotions to activate. Gifted to her from Hephaestus (he told her who her god parent was). Personality: Sarcastic, laid back, flirtatious, generally likeable. Listens to rock, metal and punk; Likes skateboarding, drawing, writing and talking to people. Despite seeming quiet, she likes socializing and gets on well with pretty much anyone she meets. Backstory: Lives with her father and goes to a high school. Didn't know her other parent for a while and about 3 years prior found out about her lineage, but didn't know who the parent god was. Thought it was Nyx and went on a short lived quest to find her but found out (to her dismay) that she was the child of Aphrodite instead. Maybe that's why she makes friends so easily, both with girls and guys. (She has a not-so-secret hatred for Aphrodite) Sexuality: Straight 2: Name: Braden (or The Cat) Age: Physically 15 God Parent: None Human Parent: ??? Ability: Shapeshifts into a small bean cat; normally stuck in this form. Personality: Stoic, cold, snarky, sarcastic, a little bit mean. Doesn't act like this to Bridge and is generally very sweet and gentle around her. Backstory: Bridge met him at their high school and they started dating, and when she found out the truth that she had a god parent he decided to join her on her quest. On their journey he was cursed by one of the gods to be stuck in a cat form to humiliate him. Hephaestus sent both him and Bridge back home after telling them who Bridge's parent was and refused to help figure out a way to reverse the curse. Bridge was given the pendant to make her shut up lol. Nowadays he rides on her shoulder and generally offers his advice (or scathing remarks to other people) when needed, but the curse is temporarily removed on nights of the full moon, where he reverts back to his original form. On the bright side he can communicate both with humans and cats! Sexuality: Straight
